IMPACT collected over 100 stories from healthcare workers who have experienced workplace violence. These stories have been compiled into a book and combined with our education.
All proceeds go to assisting healthcare workers in direct action. ETA December 2023.
These books were delivered to Capitol Hill on October 17, 2023, alongside our public awareness campaign about workplace violence prevention.
Our hope is to raise awareness and push for action to protect healthcare workers from violence.
Thank you to everyone who contributed stories, this book is dedicated to you and to the family of Amanda Glenn's family, who allowed us to share her story to raise awareness about workplace violence in healthcare. Amanda served for more than 18 years in the medical field, and was one of four victims in a shooting at a medical building at St. Francis Health System in Tulsa on 06/01/22.
